Stephen launched his business. I began prepping to launch mine. I knew I wanted to help people get unstuck in their lives, and I knew that both movement and mindset were essential to making real change. How could I use what I’d learned to help others?
I started experimenting with different ideas based on my research, my experience, and my training as an NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) practitioner. With Stephen as my guinea pig, I began designing workouts that incorporated powerful questions and other mindset tools. To this day, Stephen credits my mind-body coaching for his success, though I credit him because he did these exercises (many of which we’ll do in this book) every single morning. Meanwhile, dozens of other people who were willing to try out my crazy new idea began to see big changes in their lives, too—in their relationships, their careers, and their health.
That’s how I knew I’d stumbled upon something amazing.
I decided to call it Moticise. At first, that meant “motivational exercise, ” because it combined mindset tools with exercise. But, over time, I saw that by doing Moticise, people were manifesting their dreams while moving their bodies. That’s why I now see it as manifesting through movement. It’s putting mindset and manifestation tools to work while you work out. It’s visualizing, setting goals, and doing affirmations while you’re jogging, or lifting weights, or doing yoga. It’s changing your brain and your body on a molecular level so you can physically step into the life you want to create for yourself. It’s fun, it’s effective, and it works. Time and time again, it has radically changed people’s lives.
Since launching Moticise, I’ve watched in awe as my clients have experienced major breakthroughs. They’ve started lucrative businesses, found love, turned their lives around, moved across the country, improved their relationships with their kids, and made huge changes in a hundred other ways. The fact is, Moticise works.
That’s why I wrote this book. Moticise gets people “unstuck” so they can set their wildest dreams in motion. What if the world were filled with people who weren’t frozen in place, staring at obstacles and roadblocks, but were moving toward what lay beyond, toward the beautiful, magical, infinite world of possibility?
Let me be clear: this book is not about being Pollyanna. I’m not asking you to believe that everything is a piece of cake and that you will never suffer or struggle or want to strangle somebody. That’s called denial, and it won’t help.
Denial doesn’t get you a starring TV role. Denial doesn’t get you a million-dollar production company or a new career or a new house or whatever your dream may be.
But stepping into a new perspective does. It opens the door to all that, and more.
This book is about looking at life from a new angle—one without all the junk piled in front of it. A clean, straight shot, free of doubts and fears.
Can you imagine your life with clarity and fearlessness? Can you listen to your heart, not your fearful, worn-out ego?
If you can—or even if you don’t know how yet, but you want to—then you will experience a change, just like Stephen laughing in the car that day. This book will give you the tools you need to open your perspective and see life in a brand-new way.
As you move your body, you’ll notice movement in your life. Your body will feel lighter. You’ll have more energy. You’ll find new reserves of creativity, strength, and passion that were previously blocked. You’ll notice things coming to you in ways you never imagined. In short, your whole life will transform.
Are you ready?
